Preschool Tuition Rates

The monthly tuition amount is a set figure according to the number of days a child is enrolled per week, regardless of the number of days a child may miss due to illness, holidays, weather conditions, or other absence; whether planned or otherwise. "Two" Cute Toddlers: Let's Learn Through Play!

Welcome to our vibrant toddler program, where excitement and learning go hand in hand! Our little ones are on the move, and our primary focus is on developing safe gross motor skills as they begin to explore their surroundings with greater speed. Through activities like crawling, walking, running, jumping, and balancing, we ensure that our toddlers gain confidence and coordination.

In addition to gross motor development, we emphasize fine motor skills with engaging activities such as finger painting, playdough sculpting, coloring, and puzzles. These hands-on experiences not only nurture creativity but also enhance dexterity.

Every day, we sing, dance, and learn together in a playful environment, fostering social interactions and peer connections. Our toddlers are experiencing a "vocabulary burst" at this stage and we are dedicated to supporting this growth through immersive, teacher-created, theme-based units. Please note children need to be weaned from teethers or pacifiers prior to school, as we are big kids now and these items don't come to school!

Each themed lesson introduces new vocabulary while helping children make connections between words and objects. For example, during a farm-themed unit, children will explore various centers featuring farm animal pictures, videos, and toys. As they learn about farm animals, they will hear the names of the animals and the sounds they make, enriching their vocabulary and comprehension.

Join us as we nurture curiosity and ignite a love for learning through play!

Preschoolers: Building Community Through Play!

In our preschool program, community building is essential for this age group! Our preschoolers are transitioning from parallel play, where they play alongside their friends, to associative play, where they actively engage and interact with one another. Fostering friendships is a major focus as children enhance their social play skills!

We dedicate significant time to developing social-emotional skills, including recognizing feelings, resolving conflicts, and respecting personal space—often referred to as "bubbles." Teachers play a crucial role in modeling these interactions, guiding children on how to play together effectively.

Toilet training is also an important aspect at this age, and we fully support our families during this process. While most training occurs at home, we encourage the use of the toilet at school once parents have started at home. Please keep your child's teacher informed so we can work together to support their toilet training journey.

Our preschool program is designed to prepare children for our Kindergarten Prep program by fostering a love for learning, exploration, and socialization. We introduce children to the alphabet through exposure to letter recognition and sounds, with weekly themes often aligned to focus on a letter of the week.

We play to learn and learn to play in this group—cultivating a joyful and enriching experience for all!

Kindergarten Prep: ABC's, 1, 2, 3's, Caps & Gowns—Oh My! Kindergarten... Here We Come!!!

Welcome to an exciting year of learning and growth! While we remain devoted to play-based learning (because let’s face it, it’s preschool!), we are gradually introducing more structured learning experiences as your children prepare for the big leap into Kindergarten. This year, we’ll embrace a five-day-a-week learning model that will help our preschoolers dive deeper into their ABC’s and 1, 2, 3’s!

What to Expect This Year:

Enhanced Learning Focus: We will level up our understanding of letters and numbers through engaging activities and hands-on experiences. Learning will be fun and interactive, ensuring that our little ones stay excited about their education.

Math Journals: Each child will start their very own math journal! This will be a wonderful tool for exploring preschool math concepts while helping them make connections to math in their everyday lives. We’ll engage in activities that highlight counting, basic addition and subtraction, shapes, measurements, and more!

Phonics & Vocabulary Building: Daily phonics instruction will help our preschoolers understand the connection between letter symbols and sounds. This foundational skill is essential as we work to build their vocabulary and enhance their understanding of the world around them.

Early Reading Instruction: We believe that fostering a love for reading is crucial. Our approach will include direct instruction on early reading skills, coupled with fun and engaging activities that keep the joy of reading alive!

Graduation Celebration:

To celebrate our preschoolers’ accomplishments and their transition to Kindergarten, we will host an adorable end-of-the-year Preschool Graduation Celebration! It will be a wonderful way for families to come together and acknowledge the hard work and growth of our little learners.

We’re excited to embark on this journey of discovery, exploration, and learning together. Here’s to a fantastic year full of adventure and preparation for Kindergarten! Let’s make this year unforgettable!

Lunch is Provided from Home:

Ms. Chelle's Little Schoolhouse, LLC does not have a hot lunch option.   We ask that families provide lunch daily, so that children eat and enjoy their favorite meals prepared from home, ensuring they eat lunch well!  Nutritious lunches are very important in helping children to learn and grow.  We encourage parents to send lunches that meet the USDA requirement, which include a balanced meal of: Protein, Bread (Grain), Dairy, Fruit and/or Vegetables.  We prefer milk or water to drink at lunch.  We also ask that no candy or sugary juice comes to school.  If you would like to add a special treat to their lunch, such as a yummy cookie, know that we will encourage the children to eat most of their “healthy” food first and save the best for last - hehe!
