Yes! Ms. Chelle’s Little Schoolhouse is a year-round preschool, with our school year running from August through July.

We follow a school-year calendar with scheduled breaks, holidays, professional development days, and other typical school closures throughout the year. Our full calendar is available on our website so families can see scheduled closures and breaks before enrolling.

Tuition is billed as a monthly contracted tuition through July. Families who enroll later in the school year begin their tuition contract at their enrollment start date and continue through July. Tuition is not prorated for scheduled school closures or breaks.

Your tuition contract reserves your child’s classroom placement through July. This allows us to plan staffing and enrollment for the full school year, but it also means that placement is not available to another family who may be looking for care.

Mid-year openings can be difficult to fill, and unexpected enrollment changes can affect the stability of our teachers’ positions. We value low teacher turnover and work hard to provide our teachers with dependable employment throughout the school year.

We commit to your family by holding your child’s place and planning for their care through July, and we ask our families to make that same commitment to us.

Yes! Our Schoolhouse has a daily quiet time from 12:00–2:00 PM.

This time gives children a wonderful reset from the busy pace of the morning and allows their bodies and minds time to rest before continuing with their afternoon adventures.

Yes! We use Brightwheel to stay connected with families throughout the day. Families can receive updates, messages, photos, daily information, and important school communications right through the app.
